Multiple Charges Reduced, Gun Rights Saved in Perry County

16.07.2023 in Criminal Defense

We recently helped a client avoid significant criminal penalties for several charges in Perry County. The client was charged with identity theft, stalking, loitering, and harassment.  Attorney Czekaj negotiated the charges down, and the client instead pled guilty to summary harassment and a third-degree misdemeanor loitering offense. This plea saved the client’s gun rights and kept him out of jail. Additionally, this helped the client avoid ARD revocation from a case he had pending in another county.

Successfully Defended Broken Lease Lawsuit

31.03.2021 in Civil Litigation

Our client was sued by a former tenant for breaching a lease agreement. Attorney Czekaj suggested that we bring another party, a realtor, into the lawsuit via the applicable rules, and bring an action against the additional party.

Despite being sued for several thousands of dollars, we eventually reached a settlement where our client paid nothing but received a settlement from the additional party who was added to the lawsuit. Therefore, we successfully defended against the lawsuit, while receiving a settlement at the same time.
