Client Avoids Formal Charges in Dauphin County

24.03.2021 in Criminal Defense, Drug Crimes

Our client was the supervisor of a local, reputable Harrisburg Company, who contacted Czekaj Law, LLC once he was questioned by police after being deemed a prime suspect when one of his employees reported pills missing from her belongings. The police questioned our client and asked him to take a polygraph exam. Although charges were not yet filed, attorney Czekaj made his presence known to the authorities and pointed out some holes in the accuser’s story.

The authorities never brought formal criminal charges, and it saved our client from irreparable damage to his reputation, livelihood, and likely saved him thousands of dollars in legal fees.

This allegedly caused too many trees to harvested and damage to the landowner’s property. Attorney Czekaj visited the property and met with an expert forester to assess the situation. Eventually, we negotiated a favorable settlement to compensate the landowner for trees wrongfully harvested and damage to his property.
